Parkingeye Limited v Velindre University NHS Trust & Anor [2026] EWHC 1019 (TCC)

The Court refused to lift the automatic suspension imposed by the initiation of proceedings by the Claimant during the standstill period, holding that the public interest generally favours keeping the suspension. This means that the authority cannot conclude its contract with the successful bidder.

This decision is under the Procurement Act 2023 and is a significant shift from the approach that the Courts have taken in recent years under PCR2015.
