Auditors Ernst & Young say that Council failed to comply with procurement law
Auditors Ernst & Young have found that Middlesbrough Council “failed to comply” with procurement law when directly awarding £4m worth of children’s services contracts between 2021/22 and 2022/23. The procurement findings are set out from page 16 in the report below.
